Web sites can be simple and at other times complex. Each site is priced in many ways, sometimes it can be the complexity of the actual design, sometimes it can be the difficulty in the programming behind it. We have a list here showing some examples and a rough cost for our web design.
Basic Profile Site - Approx. £99
Sometimes all you need is something simple, a company profile site, it can consist of just one single page that has a brief run down of what you do, where you do it and how to get in contact with you. Something so simple can be effective, but generally customers want a bit more, that’s when a basic web site is more useful.
Basic Web site - Approx. £400-£600
One of the most popular sites for small businesses is a nice small site that has key information about the business, usually a “introduction/home” page which contains all your keywords that people would search google for to find your web site, an “about us” page about the company history and what it does, a products page, something that talks about what you are trying to sell, or the services you offer, an images page or gallery or secondary information page is useful and of course a contact page allowing your customers to get in touch.
A example of this would be Myriad Contracts
Intermediate Web site - Approx. £600-£1200
You might need that little bit more to your site, such as a portfolio or advanced product pages, if your site has a more complicated structure that’s not a problem, it does mean more work and therefore increases the price.
These sites are catered more to the individual and include things such as small databases, image galleries, special online forms and small flash animations.
It just means that more hours has to go into each project and this is reflected by price, single payment options with paypal can also be setup, if you only have a couple of products to sell.
Examples of a intermediate web site done by our designers is Julia Baker Garden Design
Advanced Web site - Approx. £1200-3000
Occasionally your site needs a lot of individual pages and content and needs to be managed in such a way, a Content Management System allows the user/client to have no HTML knowledge but still add things to their web site
Also databases can be used to display data and other advanced features can be used such as video on the web site Let us know your requirements.
